KAIST G-CODEs co-published the policy report “A Blueprint for Multinational Advanced AI Development” together with the Oxford AI Governance Initiative, Mila, and the Paris Peace Forum.The report argues that a multinational partnership could enable 'bridge powers' to preserve their sovereignty, gain greater influence in shaping global AI governance given the US-China bipolar structure in AI advancement.
Precedents for such multilateral cooperation in science and technology already exist, for example, CERN, ITER or Airbus, and the necessary capabilities can be mobilized through collective action.
