Profile
- Tae Jung Park is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Future Strategy, KAIST, where he teaches and conducts research in international law and law and economics.
- His primary research areas include international economic law, investment law, trade law, international environmental law, law and development, and AI governance. He earned his J.S.D. from Yale University, his J.D. from Cornell Law School, an M.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia, and a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University.
- Professor Park previously served at the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, where he advised on international legal and trade policy matters, and also gained professional experience at Kim & Chang law firm. His research has been published in leading academic journals such as Nature, The Lancet, and Cell, and he has authored a book with Edward Elgar Publishing. He is a licensed attorney in the United States and has served on the boards of the Korean Society of International Law and the Korean Society of International Economic Law.
