- Sungwon Park received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from KAIST, advised by Dr. Meeyoung Cha and Dr. Jae-gil Lee.
- His research centers on AI for Social Good, focusing on both leveraging AI to address societal challenges and mitigating the adverse effects of AI technologies.
- During his Ph.D., he was a research intern at Microsoft, the United Nations, and the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP).
- His work has been recognized with the AAAI Best Paper Award and the KAIST Outstanding Thesis Award.
