- Damian Bank conducts interdisciplinary research at the intersection of international relations, science and technology studies, and international governance.
- His research examines how technological innovations such as artificial intelligence and emerging digital media shape human rights, interstate cooperation, and national development. In particular, he analyzes how corporate actors reshape established international norms and legal frameworks, as well as how rapid technological change risks deepening the Global North-South divide.
- He earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from Korea University and holds both an M.A. and a B.A. in Asian Studies from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.
