- Since 2018, Soyoun has been working at the Korea Basic Science Institute (KBSI), where she has gained extensive experience in operating analytical instruments and managing related research programs.
- She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology from Kyungpook National University, where she published a journal paper analyzing the species distribution of malaria vector mosquitoes in Korea.
