  • Hayoon Song is a Master’s student at the Graduate School of Green Growth and Sustainability (GGGS). Her research focuses on climate risk and sustainable finance, with particular emphasis on how physical and transition risks influence financial markets, local communities, and policy decision-making.
  • She holds bachelor’s degrees in Climate and Energy Systems Engineering and Economics, and gained practical experience at an Environmental and Climate Change Consulting Center, where she contributed to corporate carbon-neutral strategies, climate risk response, and biodiversity management planning. Her research encompasses the financial and socio-economic implications of climate risks and the community acceptance of renewable energy within the context of a just energy transition.
